Hi, we're Sjoerd and Dannika
Together with our dog, we're the proud owners of Huisje Pip. We've loved coming to the Veluwe for years: walking among the pines, cycling across the heath and winding down in the evening.
We wanted to share that sense of calm, that feeling of coming home. So we created a place where you can really get away from it all, without giving up any comfort.
We hope you'll feel the same warmth at Huisje Pip that we feel every time we're here.
Made with care, stroke by stroke
It all began with an idea on a long walk in the woods: a little place of our own on the Veluwe, in the heart of the Netherlands, where we could share the joy of nature with our guests. From the first sketch to the last lick of paint, everything was done with love and care.
Huisje Pip is the result: a cosy, warmly furnished forest cottage where the details matter. From the soft throws to the handmade wooden table, we chose everything to make your stay that little bit more special.

Who is Huisje Pip for?
Two adults (18+). A baby under two stays free of charge; please bring your own travel cot. Unfortunately we can't accommodate more guests or older children.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, one dog is welcome, for €15 per stay. The garden is fully fenced, so your dog can safely roam off the lead. Just tick 'Bringing a dog' when you send your request.
What's included in the price?
Use of the hot tub, a made-up bed with bed linen, towels (one large and one medium per person), gas, water, electricity and Wi-Fi. Charged separately: final cleaning at €70 per stay and tourist tax at €1.79 per person per night. Please bring your own bathrobes and flip-flops.
How does booking work?
Choose your dates and send a request. Your dates are then held for you immediately, and you'll receive the payment details and a payment link (iDEAL or Wero) by email straight away. Please pay within 2 days. Once your payment has arrived, you'll receive confirmation the same day that your stay is guaranteed. If we don't receive payment, we cancel the request and the dates become available again.
How long can we stay, and how far ahead do we need to book?
A minimum of 2 nights, longer in some periods. You can send a request up to 2 days before arrival, so we have time to get the cottage clean and the hot tub warm.
Can we use the hot tub all year round?
Yes. The hot tub sits under a canopy in the fenced garden and is entirely private, even in winter or when it's raining. You'll get instructions on how to use it when you arrive.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. You check yourselves in using a key safe; the code and address are in the guest folder you'll receive before arrival.
Is there parking and EV charging?
One parking space by the cottage. For electric cars there's a public charging point on the holiday park, at the standard public rate.
Is there somewhere to work?
There's no separate workspace, but the living room table is fine for catching up on emails; Wi-Fi is included.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel more than 8 weeks before arrival and you'll receive a full refund. Between 4 and 8 weeks before arrival you'll get 50% back; after that, we're unable to offer a refund. See also our terms and conditions.
